As we reach out to serve others, we begin to discover the key to life is relationships. Life change comes by taking time to build relationships. We begin, of course, by taking time to build our relationship with Jesus. Out of that we attempt to live the gospel through our daily actions because of the love of Christ.

So our outreach ministry intends to impact our community as well as the world – person to person, one life at a time. We will equip, encourage, and motivate those who worship at Summit Christian Church to serve in love. To reach out means to mobilize the body of Christ to live out God’s kingdom on Earth. That means together we set the oppressed free, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, house the destitute, and, finally, bring God’s light to this dark world.

Summit’s outreach ministry is dedicated to serving all people in the hope that some will come to see the Lord’s love. Mother Teresa said, “Love has no other message but its own. Every day we try to live out Christ’s love in a very tangible way, in every one of our deeds. If we do any preaching, it is done with deeds, not just with words. That is our witness to the gospel.”
