When we serve our local community helping to meet their physical and spiritual needs,
we are also displaying the loving assurance of God’s provision for his people. When we show love to those within our sphere of influence we demonstrate God’s heart for the hurting and seeking. We make his love tangible. His love is made real through our deeds and, as a result, people open up to the message of Jesus.
Serving Others is a crucial part of our maturing and developing as a believer. Often times we as servers go to bless and leave having been blessed. Our God works in
mysterious ways. I find as we are filled in the many different facets in our lives, we have to continue to give back through our gifts and talents as well or we will miss out on a huge piece of this full life Christ has come to give us.
Below are a variety of service opportunities within our local community that you, your friends, or your LIFE Group can participate in to help share God’s heart for the needs of others. For further details about each ministry or program, contact the leader as indicated or contact Pam.
