We know that first visits can feel a little overwhelming, even intimidating. But be assured, Summit is a place where everyone is welcome. We are a diverse group of all ages regardless of where you are on your faith adventure. From skeptic to having questions to seeking a new church, Summit is a place to come as you are and it’s okay to not be okay.
HERE ARE SOME FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
YOU MAY HAVE BEFORE YOUR FIRST VISIT:
-
Get ready for one of the warmest welcomes you’ve had! From our parking team, greeters, and ushers, you will be greeted warmly—and feel free to ask questions. If you have kids, head on over to Summit Kids to get them checked in where they will be in an age-appropriate class room and learn about Jesus at their level. If you didn’t have chance for that second cup of coffee, Sparks has a full cafe; Fernley has a coffee bar. Then into the worship center as we begin on time.

Everyone is welcome, just as you are. Come in what feels comfortable for you.

Summit’s services are engaging, dynamic, and for the whole family—though we highly recommend Summit Kids for those grade 5 and below. Each week our message is relevant and Bible-based and a live band helps us refocus our thoughts to connect with God. The atmosphere is lively and casual—jeans are just fine—and usually last just over an hour. We also partake in communion each week.

We love kids and have an area designed just for them. Newborns through 5th graders have a program at every service where they get to learn about Jesus. Our fun, safe environment uses a check-in system. Stop by the Guest Desk on your fist visit, and we’ll help get you set up. All students 6th-12th grade are invited to MDWK—learn more at summitnv.org/students.

We love people and connecting them with God and with others. On your first visit, stop by The Spot so we can meet you. We’ll share some of the best ways we’ve found to help you connect with others. But it all starts with your first visit—join us for a service!
