LIES WE BELIEVE

Let’s be real—some of us are walking around with a smile on our face and a battle raging in our mind. We say we're fine, but underneath the surface are anxious thoughts, shame, and discouragement that won’t let up.

That’s what this series is about.

Weeds in My Garden is a conversation about mental health, the lies we believe, and how those lies quietly sabotage our peace. Jesus cares deeply about what’s going on inside of you—even the stuff you’ve kept hidden. There’s a battle happening: the world, our own thoughts, and a very real enemy whispering lies meant to isolate and destroy.

But God has more for you—freedom, hope, and healing. You don’t have to fight alone, and you don’t have to pretend everything’s okay. Let’s pull back the curtain together and confront the weeds with truth.

One thing we can do when we’re in a battle is declare God’s Word.

But in order to do so, we have to know God’s Word. Click here for a list of verses you can keep near your Bible to look up and memorize.

We’ve created memory verse cards for each of this passages as well below. Right click to download one (or all). Add is as your phone’s wallpaper, print it out and put it on the bathroom mirror, the refrigerator, your car dash…anywhere you’ll see it to begin hiding the Word in your heart.
